Poison applications and Charge
The condition is an ally inflicting Poison, not simply casting. Charge advances Cobrex’s current cast progress rather than changing its base cooldown. Later Poison damage ticks are not established here as new applications.
Multicast repeats count as casts in the guide’s explanation, but Cobrex still requires Poison to be inflicted. The number of repeats alone does not establish how many Charge events it receives.
Levels and Normal versus Shiny

Does any allied cast charge Cobrex?
No such general trigger is stated: the ally must inflict Poison. An ordinary cast without that condition should not be treated as a confirmed trigger.
Does Cobrex count its own Poison?
