Batomon Showdown Voltalith

Voltalith gives permanent Shock to the Electric ally above when it casts. Shiny expands the recipients to adjacent Electric allies, without changing the listed growth amount at the same level.

Voltalith is listed as Tier 3, Cost 30, Type electric.

Electric targets and permanent Shock

Normal requires the Electric ally above; Shiny names adjacent Electric allies. Ordinary adjacent slots touch above, below, left or right rather than diagonally. The type requirement remains in both forms, including when considering special adjacency effects.

Permanent Shock gains carry into later battles of the same run. Voltalith’s own Shock output and the amount it gives recipients are separate fields: at level 4 they are 30 and 24 respectively.

Levels and Normal versus Shiny

Numeric values match across forms. Recipient positions differ, as explained above; the level 4 gain is 24 rather than an inferred linear increase.

Voltalith questions

Does Shiny still affect only the ally above?

Its text changes the target to adjacent Electric allies, so the Normal direction should not be imposed on Shiny.

Is base Shock the amount given to each ally?

No. The panel’s Shock and the permanent gain are separate values; use the gain column for the ability.

What happens with an empty slot or a non-Electric ally?

Those outcomes, changing types and simultaneous stacking have not been independently established.

Check the target’s position and Electric type before reading the gain column.
