Batomon Showdown Zephyrex
Zephyrex gives permanent Multicast to the Flying ally in front when it casts. Shiny changes the recipients to adjacent Flying allies; Zephyrex itself is stated to be unable to have Multicast.
Zephyrex is listed as Tier 4, Cost 60, Type flying.
Flying targets and the Multicast restriction
Normal names the Flying ally in front; Shiny names adjacent Flying allies. Front and behind share a column in the guide’s position rules. Ordinary adjacency includes touching slots above, below, left and right rather than diagonals.
Permanent gains carry into later battles of the same run. Multicast describes total casts, and the entity text explicitly says Zephyrex cannot have it; this does not mean Zephyrex cannot cast at all.
Levels and Normal versus Shiny
The numbers match across forms; compare their recipient positions above. The gain column is separate from Zephyrex’s own Multicast restriction.
| Level | Damage | Cooldown | Permanent Multicast per recipient |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | 100 | 11s | 1 |
| 2 | 100 | 11s | 2 |
| 3 | 100 | 11s | 3 |
| 4 | 800 | 11s | 12 |
Zephyrex questions
Does Shiny remove the Flying requirement?
No. It changes the position requirement to adjacent allies while retaining the Flying qualification.
Can Zephyrex gain Multicast from a different source?
The printed restriction says it cannot have Multicast, rather than merely excluding its own ability. Exceptional copying and transformation cases remain untested.
How high can the recipient’s Multicast grow?
A cap and the resulting full cast sequence have not been established for this reference.
Separate recipient growth from Zephyrex’s own Multicast restriction.
